Freedom Fest 2014
As you can imagine any patriotic event will go over well with the military. This was proven to be the case on the 4th of July celebration on Ft. Hood. The base celebrated the 4th with their annual Freedom Fest event and Omni GM Keith Callands was first in line with Ft. Hood MWR to sponsor this day-long extravaganza. During the course of the day 3000 service members, families and career retirees were treated to free live entertainment, arts and crafts, fabulous food and inflatables for the kids. This magnificent day was topped of with a giant fireworks display and of course, patriotic music. Being able to support the service members of Ft. Hood and provide them with some special opportunities to relax is, and will continue to be, the primary objective for GM Keith Callands, himself retired from the military.
